QL Foods Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 1994. It is strategically located in Hutan Melintang, Perak, Malaysia, which is the biggest fishing base in the country. QL Foods Sdn. Bhd. is the first vertically integrated surimi manufacturer in Malaysia. We utilize the combination of the surimi plant with a substantially automated downstream production line to produce both surimi and surimi-based products simultaneously. We produce a wide range of chilled and frozen surimi-based products such as crab filament stick, fishball, fish tofu etc packed under two brand names i.e. ‘Mushroom’ and ‘OceanRia’. Our products besides being sold locally are also exported to countries such as Australia, Indonesia, Canada, Korea, China, Hong Kong and the United States. Manufacturing of dried surimi-based products such as fish snacks is also also one of our core activities. Our manufacturing is compliance with Eu standard, HACCP, ISO 22000:2005,GMP requirement to ensure quality of the highest order.
